I have a long bus journey tomorrow and just dashed out to my local branch of Cuspide to buy myself something to read. While I was looking at Kojève’s book on Hegel I heard people speaking English so I looked around to see that it was Slavoj Žižek and his goddess of a twentysomething wife. I knew he was married to someone from here and I think I recall reading that she was from Caballito but that didn’t prepare me for the surprise of seeing him. I toyed briefly with the notion of telling him that I think The Ticklish Subject is an excellent read but bottled out of it. They bought a big pile of books and when they had paid she gave him a big kiss.
