…is not the most noble of emotions but in this case I´m going to indulge myself fully as it seems that Gassó and her loathsome gang of arselickers have finally gotten what was coming to them. What particularly tickles me about the petition is this:
“En este marco y conscientes de la gravedad que implica la interrupción de todo orden democrático,”
Sure, education should serve democratic ends and those who participate in it maintain their normal democratic rights but it doesn´t follow from this that each and every educational institution has to be organised as a mini-republic, able to spend public money as it sees fit without ever having to justify its activities to anyone on the outside.
And even less excusable is the not so subtle hint of a comparison with a military coup. A quite nauseating text.
